MEET OUR TEAM
Welcome to EquipKids, where we believe in empowering children to unlock their full potential and flourish in life. I’m Sabina Stancescu, the proud founder of EquipKids, and I am thrilled to share our story with you.
In 2018, armed with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy from AUT (Auckland University of Technology), I embarked on a journey to create a space that fosters growth, development, and happiness for children. At EquipKids, we are dedicated to providing the right therapeutic input and resources, combined with a nurturing environment, to help children soar towards independence.
With a deep passion for occupational therapy, I am committed to utilizing my knowledge and expertise to support children in achieving their goals and overall well-being. I firmly believe that every child deserves the opportunity to thrive, and it is this belief that drives us every day at EquipKids.
As a mother myself, I understand the significance of family and the importance of a supportive community. At EquipKids, we value and validate parents and families, recognizing that they play an integral role in their child’s journey. Together, we work hand in hand, creating a collaborative partnership that allows children to flourish and reach new heights.
Beyond my professional dedication, my heart lies with my own family and my two beloved dogs, Yugi and Mia. They remind me daily of the unconditional love, joy, and companionship that children can experience when provided with the right tools and opportunities.
EquipKids is more than just a place; it’s a warm and welcoming space where children can grow, learn, and thrive. We invite you to join our community, where trust, empathy, and support are at the heart of everything we do.
